First International Conference of Islamic Publishers will took place concurrent with Tehran’s Third International Book Exhibition, aiming at tapping potentials of publishing houses of the Islamic world in theoretical and pragmatic fields of various sciences.
The gathering has invited the leading Muslim publishers, writers and translators to pursue teachings of holy Koran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and other saints of Islam, Jamaran News Base reported.
The conference could serve as a venue for defining the role and importance of publishing activities in development of scientific and cultural interactions, coordination with the world publishers and preparation of publishers with one another to tackle crisis as well as Islamophobia in the western media.
The gathering will also help publishers be familiar with one another in three national, regional and international fields.
The International Department of the Institute for Publishing Works of Imam Khomeini will assist Orouj Institute.
