The fourth seminar on approach of Imam Khomeini towards foreign policy is set to be held in the Iranian calendar month of Khordad (May 22- June 21).
The seminar themed “Status of Justice in Politics, International Relations & Status” will be held to mark the 21st death anniversary of Imam Khomeini on June 4.
Foreign Ministry’s Institute for Political and International Studies is organized the seminar with the cooperation of Political Science Group of Isfahan University, Jamaran News Base reported.
Mankind has longed for attaining justice in politics and international relations and system since ancient time although establishing and spreading justice in human societies has been mainly pursued by religions, especially Islam.
Although pundits from all school of thoughts, statesmen and international institutions agree on execution of justice, they have different views towards ways to achieve justice. There have even been wars as excuse for attaining justice.
On the other hand, extensive cooperation has been made under the umbrella of international, governmental and non-governmental organization to achieve justice-oriented peace. However, attaining justice is still grappling with complicate problems and challenges.
Given the importance of the topic, Foreign Ministry’s Institute for Political and International Studies is set to held the 4th Imam Khomeini & Foreign Policy Seminar themed “Status of Justice in Politics, International Relations & Status” with the cooperation Isfahan University to mark the 21st death anniversary of Imam Khomeini on June 4.
“Justice in Politics,” “Justice in International Relations,” “Theoretical Schools of Justice,” “Islam & Justice in International Relations,” “Justice & National Interests,” “Role of Justice in International Security,” “Role of International Organizations in Establishing Justice,” “Justice & Proper Governance,” and “Justice in International Economy & Trade” are among topics to be put on debate.
According to Public Relations Office of Foreign Ministry’s Institute for Political and International Studies has invited the interested experts to submit an abstract of their papers in a one-page A4 paper in Microsoft Word not later than April 19 to the following addresses:
